Ow, my hands... Poi
Jan. 30th, 2007 05:12 pmI have discovered a situation where it hurts more to hit oneself on the hand with one's poi than to hit one's head. Any guesses? Yup, silly me went outside to play with my poi and see if I retained any of my nifty new tricks from Saturday. It's 35 outside and was sprinkling snow. My hands were burning cold in the first place and hitting them with a tennis ball was beyond unpleasant. Worth it, but painful.
Answer to my question: yes, I did retain the new tricks. Not that I'll get to practice them much in the near future. Ooh, I wonder how many wierd looks I'd get for taking poi to the firehouse, they have a roof and no wind in the garage, or the bingo hall..
I'm reminded to be thankful that it was warm out (almost 60) on Saturday when I was outside playing with poi for (I think) over an hour. It was great fun and I had wonderful company. Thank you
